The Department of Economics and Business at the University of Cagliari organizes the Summer School in Computational Economics.  The deadline for applications is April 30, 2015.

The School will consist of two parallel 4-day courses:

  • A basic course in programming and estimation of Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) macroeconomic models.
  • An advanced course in continuous-time methods for Economics and Finance.
The two courses are designed for anyone working in applied macroeconomics. In particular, researchers and policymakers dealing with models that are computationally expensive to simulate, highly nonlinear, or infinite dimensional due to agents heterogeneity will find the two courses particularly useful.

The standard registration fee for one course is 449 euros for academics and 999 euros for central bankers and employees of international organizations and private companies. However, reduced rates are available under certain conditions, thanks to our sponsor Surgitek. Please check the fees button below. Each course is self contained and the fee includes one social dinner and course material, including slides and codes. The fee does not include accommodation.
